ICL Group expands its presence in the Far East

On 6 December, ICL Group registered a Vladivostok-based subsidiary company called ICL Services Vostok. The company will focus on working with the IT markets of Japan, Korea, Singapore and South-East Asia.

ICL Services Vostok possesses a wide range of competencies in software development, remote IT infrastructure management services as well as after-sales and technical support. ICL Group will use its operations in the Far Eastern time zone to expand the Group’s service capabilities in line with the ’follow the sun’ model, which entails non-stop 24-hour customer service around the world.

The proximity of the office to Japan will allow ICL Services Vostok to develop and strengthen partnerships with its key business partner Fujitsu as well as expand the export of its full range of IT services. It is assumed that the newly created enterprise will also work toward digitalisation and development of national projects and territories in the Far Eastern Federal District.

Now, highly qualified experts providing customer service in Russian, English and Japanese have already begun their work in the ICL Services Vostok office, which is planned to house 35 specialists. The company is open to professionals and young IT specialists of the region, and is ready to provide them with opportunities to start and develop a career in a global company that works on international projects. Over the next three years, ICL Services Vostok plans to pass the 200-employee milestone, becoming a reliable service provider for the Far Eastern and Pacific regions.
