Successful content moderation case.
Our customer is a global social media platform for live video streaming where users live stream their moments of life, talk to friends, make video calls and watch trendy videos.
Content moderation is performed in 6 directions:
1) content moderation of videos up to 1 minute. An appropriate mark will be given if a violation is found. Each moderator watches about 2500 videos per shift.
2) moderation of text content. Each moderator gets 10 texts lined up to assign a category of violation, if any, or the "No violation" category. These texts are directly related to the video.
3) moderation of videos and live streams. Moderators watch a stream for a certain time, and if a violation is detected, they will give an appropriate mark.
4) moderation of video content with varying duration (up to several minutes), graphic and text content.
5) moderation of invitations to various groups. Moderators block 18+ invitations.
6) moderation of users’ video "stories" content stored in the app for up to 24 hours.
Each moderator goes through several stages:
-
Internship, where we check the employee’s knowledge about the project. A test to complete successful internship;
-
On-job training where employees moderate content in a test environment.
