The project's client is Severstal, one of the world's largest mining and metals companies with its main assets in Russia.
The company provides a full cycle of services, from ore and coal mining to the production of high-value products for the construction, mechanical engineering, and fuel and energy sectors.
The client faced the need for a phased replacement of IT infrastructure services to meet regulatory and legislative requirements for critical information infrastructure (CII).The company provides a full cycle of services, from ore and coal mining to the production of high-value products for the construction, mechanical engineering, and fuel and energy sectors.
The company needed to implement a comprehensive import substitution of key services while simultaneously testing their functionality within a unified architecture and integrating them with the existing IT environment.
This involved not simply replacing individual products, but building a fully functional, fault-tolerant system based on Russian solutions. ICL Services was brought in to address this challenge.
