ICL Services Showcases ICL.Retail for Gas Stations at Zapravka 4.0 Forum

On April 23, the all-Russian gas station forum Zapravka 4.0 was held in Moscow. The event brought together fuel market professionals, business representatives, and IT experts to discuss digitalization, the launch of new gas station formats, and industry development strategies.

ICL Services, a product and service company, participated in the event with a dedicated demo stand showcasing a fuel retail solution – a touchscreen checkout system powered by the ICL.Retail point-of-sale software. 

ICL.Retail software is already well established on the market and is actively being deployed by ICL Services' experts in customer infrastructures. Unlike industry-specific solutions for retail, fuel dispensing, and restaurants, it enables a single consolidated receipt covering café products and non-fuel goods, supported by a unified set of promotions and loyalty system.

The system provides control over fuel sales, automates self-service areas, and enables inventory management and customer behavior analysis. At the Zapravka 4.0 forum, the software was showcased on a touchscreen-based POS terminal with displays for both the cashier and the customer. This setup creates an advertising space directly at the checkout, where customers are already prepared to spend money and are focused on the screen. Among other features, ICL.Retail does not require on-site servers at gas stations, and the cash registers can operate in offline mode, which is critical for ensuring uninterrupted operations.
