Key Challenges
- Develop technical documentation for creating the data center’s engineering infrastructure to support future deployment of IT equipment.
- Conduct survey and design work to prepare the facility and connect the power and water supply lines to the modular data center.
- Perform construction and installation tasks, commissioning, and comprehensive load testing of the modular data center before putting the facility into operation.
- Ensure a seamless transfer of IT workload to the modular data center with a coordinated set of preparatory measures.
Considering the tight commissioning timeline, we held discussions that were settled in favor of a solution based on GreenMDC’s modular data center.
We relied on our extensive experience in designing and upgrading data center infrastructures to develop detailed project documentation for creating the module and integrating it with engineering systems to meet the Customer’s specific requirements.
This resulted in successful project completion and the creation of a fault-tolerant and efficient data center engineering infrastructure for stable enterprise operations, including the following systems:
— Uninterruptible power supply system,
— Automatic load transfer and power distribution system,
— Cooling system,
— Ventilation and smoke extraction system,
— Mounting structure and sealing system, hot aisle,
— Structured cabling system, including a fiber optic line between the modular data center and the corporate data transfer networks,
— Fire alarm system and gas fire extinguishing system,
— Aspiration fire detection system,
— ACS,
— CCTV,
— Engineering infrastructure monitoring system,
— Guaranteed power supply system.
Results
- We created a complete set of design documentation for modular data center construction.
- All customer requirements were addressed, and assistance was provided with selecting suppliers for equipment and architectural solutions.
- Infrastructure was created to ensure reliable and continuous facility operation.
