1. During the site visit, our team identified the following deficiencies:

   — When replacing ACS elements, the operating organization had used low-quality components, which frequently failed and disrupted the interior aesthetics,

   — The server was an outdated tower PC; according to security service feedback, it constantly froze and spontaneously rebooted,

   — There were violations in the access control protocol, making it possible for an employee to share their access card with other people,

   — The turnstile was too slow and had defects in its configurations, which led to facility access disruptions (sometimes an employee’s card wouldn’t register, and when they approached the turnstile, the system would read the card of the person behind them, causing inaccuracies in the work time logs).

   During consultations, our company’s specialists proposed several ACS modernization scenarios, and the Customer selected their preferred solutions from the list.

   Drawing from our extensive experience in security system design and implementation, the team developed an ACS modernization project that included:

   — Connecting all ACS controllers in a “ring” configuration (to increase system fault tolerance),

   — Replacing all ACS elements with standardized components,

   — Replacing the server with a new rack-mounted unit located in a cross-connect room (with acceptable ventilation and temperature levels),

   — Upgrading the integrated Intellect ITV security system to the current version,

   — Updating the access controller firmware,

   — Installing biometric readers for two-factor employee identification (using facial recognition and access cards),

   — Debugging the work time logging subsystem.
