PhosAgro puts Colibri-UEM into commercial operation

PhosAgro has launched a Russian-made centralized workstation and server management system into full-scale commercial use. As part of its strategy for replacing critical IT infrastructure with domestic solutions, the system has been rolled out across all Group enterprises, enabling efficient management of devices running both Windows and Russian Linux distributions.

Following the exit of foreign developers, suppliers, and software vendors from the market, previously used monitoring and management systems stopped receiving updates, increasing the risk of critical errors and reducing the reliability of servers and IT equipment. The company’s solution was to select a Russian-made alternative. After comparative testing and a pilot phase, ICL Services’ Colibri-UEM system was chosen as the best option.

Its main advantages are autonomy and independence: servers handling data processing and storage are hosted internally, minimizing the risk of unauthorized third-party access. The system meets all import substitution requirements, supports simultaneous work across multiple environments, and has an intuitive interface, making adoption by IT staff straightforward.
“After three months of testing, Colibri-UEM showed clear competitive advantages — speed, functionality, reliability, and rapid developer response to requests, including prompt adjustments to the software. The new system is fully adapted to PhosAgro’s business processes. Agreements have been reached for the delivery of more than 5,500 licenses with extended support. In the future, we plan to increase the number of managed devices and integrate the system with other services and solutions. This is undoubtedly another step toward strengthening PhosAgro’s technological sovereignty and IT security,” said Igor Kurashov, Deputy CEO of Apatit (part of the PhosAgro Group) for Information Technology.

“Ensuring business continuity after the withdrawal of foreign software vendors was the main goal of this project. This integration will not only boost productivity and optimize IT resource management via a unified platform but also help the company adapt to market changes and build a sustainable foundation for future growth. Security and independence in software solutions are now more important than ever, which is why we plan to use Colibri-UEM to automate the migration to Astra Linux, supporting the company’s import substitution strategy,” said Ilnur Ibragimov, Technical Director of Colibri-UEM.
