At the Kazan Digital Week 2025 international forum, ICL Services will showcase a hardware and software complex (HSC) built on Arenadata Group products. This solution is designed to store and process large volumes of data—from tens of terabytes to tens of petabytes.
The system is based entirely on Russian equipment and software listed in the Ministry of Industry and Trade registry and the Unified Registry of Russian Programs, and is intended for use at critical information infrastructure (CII) facilities.
Its fully Russian foundation ensures full compliance with strict national digital security standards. The HSC combines ICL Techno servers, registry-approved operating systems, Arenadata Group software, and a proprietary management system.
The solution’s relevance stems from legislative requirements that, starting September 1, 2024, prohibit the purchase of untrusted hardware and software complexes for significant CII facilities, with complete decommissioning required by 2030. In this regard, the ICL Services product is highly relevant to a wide range of organizations, including government agencies, major banks, telecom operators, and industrial enterprises.
According to Ivan Sinev, Deputy Head of Infrastructure at ICL Services, customers gain numerous competitive advantages. “The product’s key benefits are its pre-configured setup, which greatly simplifies deployment, and its high scalability. In addition, the HSC streamlines operations, reduces maintenance staff requirements, and provides unified technical support that minimizes the risk of failures,“ he emphasizes.
According to Anton Blizgarev, Business Development Director of Arenadata Group, the partnership with ICL Services is an important step in strengthening Russia’s technological sovereignty. “This complex, built on Arenadata Group products, provides critical facilities with a reliable, secure, and fully domestic solution for working with big data, which is more relevant than ever in today’s environment,” says Anton Blizgarev.
