ICL Services Spoke at the SPIEF 2022 Business Breakfast
On June 14–18, St. Petersburg hosted the St. Petersburg International Economic Forum 2022, which included a business breakfast dedicated to the topic of IT Leadership — the Alliance of Russia and the Developing World. The speaker of the event was Ruslan Vagizov, director of ICL Services International Group.
The business breakfast, organized by RUSSOFT and the Association for Electronic Communications (RAEC), brought together top managers of Russian IT companies and government officials. The participants discussed the opportunities and ways to develop and support the Russian market as a world ICT leader.
«Today, we are witnessing the transition of the IT market to a new outsourcing model — Friendly Nearshoring.* It denotes the transfer of business processes to friendly countries in geographical proximity to the customer, unaffected by the global sanctions,» says Ruslan Vagizov. «Despite all the existing difficulties, we see excellent potential in the current situation to expand partnerships, both industrial and technological, and are actively working on restructuring the international business through new channels.»
The SPIEF is held annually under the patronage and with the participation of the President of the Russian Federation. This year, the participants discussed the most pressing global and federal socio-economic issues, including the problems and challenges for the development and expansion of the IT market in a crisis.
*Friendly Nearshoring — a prompt personalized approach.
