ICL Services shares expertise on import substitution of workstation infrastructure at Tatneft meeting

The 21st Almetyevsk meeting with Tatneft Group specialists, the main oil industry event in the Republic of Tatarstan, took place from October 18th to October 20th. The gathering aims to unite top companies from the oil and gas, chemical, energy, environmental, and industrial safety sectors to share knowledge, showcase innovative industry technologies, and foster new partnerships.

As part of the event, ICL Services showcased its expertise in import substitution and managing workstation infrastructure within businesses.

ICL Services' speaker and system architect, Ilnur Ibragimov, told the audience about the challenges and crucial aspects to consider while migrating workplace infrastructure from Windows to Linux. He also discussed the heterogeneity of these operating systems and shared a successful case study of ICL Services' migration project for Tatneft Group, which the company performed using a proprietary tool for generalized automated workstation management,  Colibri-ARM.
