ICL Services participates in the meeting of the Collegium of the Ministry of Digitalization of the Republic of Tatarstan

Airat Khairullin, Minister of Digitalization and Communications of the Republic of Tatarstan, summarized the results of the IT industry of the Republic of Tatarstan for 2024 and shared plans and objectives for 2025. In his report, he admitted ICL Group's contribution to the development of import substitution projects as a strategic direction of the republic's IT industry development.

"Over the past two years, we've seen unprecedented development dynamics in this area for the first time in the entire 30-year period of the country's modern history. The contribution of regional companies to the implementation of the federal import substitution strategy deserves special mention. A striking example is ICL, Tatarstan's company that makes a significant contribution to the development of Russian technologies and production facilities capable of replacing imported counterparts," emphasized Airat Khairullin.

ICL Group took part in the IT solutions exhibition and shared its results of the past year. ICL Services' team successfully completed a large-scale project to migrate more than 150,000 public servants' workstations to Astra Linux. ICL Group and ICL Astra Services Import Substitution Center have developed a language package for Astra Linux in the Tatar language. ПАКIn addition, on behalf of Rais of the Republic of Tatarstan, ICL Services has launched the second phase of the GIST 2.0 comprehensive project for the management of import substitution workstations in all the districts of Tatarstan.

A wide range of hardware and software systems were on display, from setting up a managed workstation to deploying private clouds. ICL Techno presented its equipment included in the register of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Russia: 24" and 27" monitors, Raybook S1523 laptop for work and study, T104 thin client, and B103 system unit. All the models were manufactured at the new ICL plant in the Innopolis special economic zone near Kazan with a production capacity of up to 1 million products per year. In addition, the experts admitted projects implemented for representative offices of foreign companies to help them localize their IT infrastructure in Russia.

ICL System Technologies presented its Biometrics software and hardware system with direct connection to the EBS state information system and reported successful completion of the project on integrating complex security systems at the new Galiaskar Kamal Theater.
