It's important to note that the register of Russian software comprises software and databases developed by Russian IT companies, capable of functioning independently, without the need for software created in "non-friendly" countries. The primary objective of creating the registry is to ensure the technological sovereignty, independence, and security of the country's infrastructure, as well as to support Russian developers. As of today, the registry includes over 19,000 pieces of software.

The Russian workplace management system Colibri-UEM, developed by ICL Services, has been included in the unified register of Russian computer software and databases.
