ICL Group company ready for import substitution

ICL company group was included in the ranking of Russian IT companies prepared best for import substitution of foreign technologies issued by the Institute of socio-economic modernization (ISEM).

In total, this ranking included 44 Russian companies divided into 4 groups: A, B, C, D, with, respectively, the highest, high, medium and low readiness to import substitution. ICL company group today is in Group C.

Evaluation criteria of the rating: production of own IT products, degree of utilization of foreign software and hardware components in the products, ability to replace foreign IT products with domestic products or open source components, compliance with information security requirements. Experts also took into account the degree of dependence of rating participants on foreign agencies.

"The main result of the study gives grounds for optimism: Russia has its own potential for the creation of IT systems, including the strategic market directions — SRM, ERP, ECM, as well as financial activity automation systems", — ISEM summed up.
