Colibri-UEM implementation project for “Avtozavod St. Petersburg” gets nominated for “Project of the year” by Global CIO
The Global CIO community has opened voting for the best IT project of the year. Among the finalists, is ICL Services' turnkey automated workstation management project for Avtozavod St. Petersburg.
This project sets an example of successful import substitution for a critical IT system. During the collaboration, Avtozavod St. Petersburg's data was moved from the Microsoft SCCM platform to the domestic Colibri-UEM solution without interrupting the enterprise’s production processes.
What makes the project particularly significant is its practical deployment in an active automotive manufacturing environment, where it is crucial for processes to run continuously. In addition to resulting in a domestically designed turnkey solution, the implementation process also reduced IT workload through automated OS and software deployment on workstations.
“Our project represents a revolutionary approach to IT infrastructure management at a large automotive manufacturing facility. We didn’t simply replace a foreign product—we achieved complete technological independence from foreign workstation management. This case confirmed the high maturity level of the Colibri-UEM system and its readiness to successfully handle industrial-scale tasks,” noted Ilnur Ibragimov, Technical Director of Colibri-UEM.
Votes for finalist projects are open on the official Global CIO competition website until January 11, 2026. Top IT managers can support the ICL Services project by registering on the portal
