IT forum in oil and gas industry of Russia
Federal industry forum for working out new approaches and strategies for innovative development of ICT in oil and gas industry of Russia.
While Russian oil and gas companies uncompromisingly fight for a place in the market, their IT services do not compete with each other. On the contrary, under conditions of economic recession and sanctions introduced by western countries the IT-services of Russian oil and gas companies tend to combine their efforts in order to turn the idea of import substitution from just a slogan into the actually working mechanism.
Along with such cooperation this will require support from state institutions and development funds, both in setting the tasks for development of domestic telecommunication and IT solutions and software and in co-financing of these works.
These issues will be the main topics of a unique event, “IT Forum of Oil and Gas Industry of Russia”, which will be held on September 17, 2015, at the Four Seasons Hotel Lion Palace St. Petersburg (Saint Petersburg, Voznesensky pr., 1).
